Leadership
The day-to-day administration of CCCERA is delegated to the chief
executive officer and a full-time staff of approximately
65 employees.
Christina Dunn began as the chief executive officer in March
2024, after her appointment by the Board of Retirement as the
acting chief executive officer in August 2023. Dunn joined
CCCERA as the administrative and human resources manager in 2010
and was promoted to deputy chief executive officer in 2017. Dunn
strategizes, coordinates, and oversees the operations of the
association, while also managing the implementation of the
policies and regulations set forth by the Board of Retirement.
Colin Bishop returned to CCCERA to serve as the Deputy CEO
in August 2024. Prior to that, he was Chief of Member
Services at the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement
Association (SBCERA) for five years. Bishop previously served as
CCCERA’s Member Services Manager from August 2017 to April 2019.
Before coming to CCCERA, he worked in communications at the San
Mateo County Employees’ Retirement Association (SamCERA) for six
years. In his role as Deputy CEO, he assists the chief executive
officer with oversight of the operations of the association.
Tim Price joined CCCERA as the chief investment officer in 2012.
Prior to CCCERA, Price was a member of CCCERA’s investment
consulting team. Price works directly with the Board of
Retirement to develop strategic investment goals that are
tailored to the organization and crafts policies to pursue those
goals.
Karen Levy serves as legal counsel for CCCERA management staff
and the Board of Retirement. Prior to joining CCCERA in 2008, she
was a civil litigator specializing in insurance coverage defense
and appellate practice. Levy is licensed to practice law in the
State of California and is admitted to appear at all state and
federal courts in the State.
