Colin Bishop returned to CCCERA to serve as the Deputy CEO
in August 2024. Prior to that, he was Chief of Member
Services at the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement
Association (SBCERA) for five years. Bishop previously served as
CCCERA’s Member Services Manager from August 2017 to April 2019.
Before coming to CCCERA, he worked in communications at the San
Mateo County Employees’ Retirement Association (SamCERA) for six
years. In his role as Deputy CEO, he assists the chief executive
officer with oversight of the operations of the association.
Bishop earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from UC Berkeley
and a master’s in journalism from Indiana University.
