The Retirement Board May Discuss And Take Action On The Following:

  1. Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. Accept comments from the public.
  3. Approve minutes from the March 24 and April 13, 2016 meetings.
  4. Routine items for June 8, 2016.
    1. Approve certifications of membership.
    2. Approve service and disability allowances.
    3. Accept disability applications and authorize subpoenas as required.
    4. Approve death benefits.
    5. Accept Asset Allocation Report

CLOSED SESSION

  1. The Board will go into closed session under Gov. Code Section 54957 to consider recommendations from the Medical Advisor and/or staff regarding the following disability retirement applications:

  5. The Board will continue in closed session under Gov. Code Section 54957 to consider the Hearing Officer’s recommendation regarding the disability application for David Besag.  

OPEN SESSION

  1. Presentation from Segal Consulting: Actuarial Experience Study.
  2. Consider and take possible action to adopt the actuarial demographic assumption changes and explicit administrative expense load recommended by Segal Consulting in its Actuarial Experience Study; which changes and recommendations would then be utilized in the December 31, 2015 actuarial valuation report.
  3. Legislative Update.
  4. Consider authorizing the attendance of Board and/or staff:
